SWIFT Customer Security Program (CSP)
WHAT IS CSP?
SWIFT has developed and published a Customer Security Controls Framework, comprising a set of baseline security controls that financial institutions must apply to their SWIFT-related infrastructure.
All SWIFT users must self-attest their level of compliance with the mandatory controls every 12 months. Participants failing to reach compliance with CSP may be subject to specific actions taken by SWIFT and the local regulator.
To help financial institutions meet CSP controls and assessment as well as developing an effective response to SWIFT-related cyber threats, AAC has launched the consultation services for SWIFT CSP to help financial institutions across the globe to work on compliance with SWIFT’s CSP.
How Can AAC Assist You?
· Assess your bank readiness for CSP controls (Gap Analysis).
· Question & evaluate each item transparently against the bank's implementation.
· Recommend implementation measures and guidelines to close possible gaps.
· Indicate a typical cost range for these implementation measures.
